~SUNNY DAYS AHEAD! (in my random world)~

It finally feels like spring time! The sun is gorgeous in its blue sky. I walked my daughter to school instead of driving today..then kept on going to Trader Joes where I picked up some yummy hippy food, (eggplant sammiches, hummus, indian flat bread, avacados, and veggie chips.)All in all, I walked roughly three miles today. I feel rad! Its so nice out, and the forecast shows more sun to come..so I think I'll wash my car, too. As I was walking past the retirement complexes down Florida Street, I noticed a long line of elderly people being checked out to family or friends. Who knew old folks were like library books?

Whats the deal with Dennis Rodman NOT getting kicked off Celebrity Apprentice yet? *shakes head* If Jesse James doesnt win this thing, I'll have lost all faith. He is a creative genius, with a wit that wont quit. Ive never seen a smarter guy on this show. I mean, the guy once made a drivable log slicer out of an old pimped out Zimmer! *genius*

My mother had a minor heart attack last week. She was in the hospital for a few days. She is ok now, but will have to be on heart medication for the rest of her life. She isnt unhealthy..She eats like a bird, and its usually all fruits and vegetables. Ive never seen a woman walk so much in all my life. She loves to be outside. Apparently she has a glitch in her heart, so when her rate increases it continues to increase and wont stop...Very Scary. At one point they had to kill her and bring her back in the ambulance just to reboot her. Needless to say, I was freaked out by that. No, she still cant see dead people..I asked. Lol.

Kasi has moved down to California..Now we just need to get Kylee down here and we'll all be a happy family again....or at least a together family of snarky dork-faces.

Im counting down the days until I see my Skylar Paige again. She will be here in a few weeks! Im ecstatic! I just wanna love on her...

Ok im off to wash my car! Dont be jealous of my sunshine......

~Life this week~

I had a really interesting week, so far. Saturday was spent giving a massage to a new friend..who later introduced me to pulled chicken sammiches on pretzel bread. Good stuff!! I had a lot of fun, and hope we do it again soon.

Sunday I was called to do activity days for primary at church. Ive managed to avoid callings until now. They've finally caught up to me. *shakes fist in air* Hopefully I will like this calling. Only time will tell.

Monday the kids didnt have school, so my mother and I attempted to take them to Disneyland. The moment we got there, a monsoon hit. We then decided to go to the movies..As we sat in the theater to see Coraline, the movie projector breaks. Its like the day was cursed! We eventually got to see the film, which was adorable, in an uber creepy way. Little ones may need to sit that one out if they scare easily.

Its a beautiful day today, finally...but sooo cold!!

At school we have a group project to do a video infomercial on the importance of body mechanics and its effects. Teacher wants it entertaining. My group has decided to do this 80's style..complete with bad spandex, Olivia Newton-John singing in the background, and huge hair. Im the mastermind, of course...Its what I do...

I have three married men who flirt with me unmercifully...and nobody who is single will give me the time of day. Wtf??

I had to get a TB test for school today..Um...Fun. The best part was, I didnt get lost driving on all the freeways to get there!

Tickets are now on sale to see my son at the Performing Arts Center with the OC Mormon Choir, for their Easter production. I highly recommend going..Its amazing.

My car brakes sound like an ogre trying to clear its throat...Im really embarrassed. It adds to my cracked windshield that slices from one end completely to the other. Awesome....Not to mention, its a Kia. I must be the pride of Huntington Beach. haha

Unashamed!

I was talking to my friend a while back, and he mentioned that he isnt the type who gets ashamed of things. This got me thinking, and although im ashamed of a lot of things ive done, said, and lets face it...worn, there are a lot of things im NOT ashamed of, (and really sorta should be. :0P) Id like to list a few right now...

1.) I sing at the top of my lungs to the Spice Girls while driving, and if I may say so myself, rock the shit out of it.

2.) I swear like a sailor on shore leave...much to my mothers chagrin.

3.) I drive a freaking 2004 gold Kia Spectra....Yes its Korean and has a bad reputation for being a piece of turd, but its always been good to me, its paid for, and it has a little character sporting my Metallica sticker on the back window and huge disco ball on the rear view.

4.) I still wear jelly braceletes..

5.) Im a member of blogger, facebook, myspace, ldslinkup, ldsmingles, and many other embarrassing sites that make a person feel like they have a social life.

6.) I dance to everything...very badly..but i just dont care cuz it feels so right!

7.) I fall for guys VERY easily...and i love with my whole heart. This makes me a victim most of the time, but i wouldnt trade it for anything.

8.) Ive been called trailor trash, and it didnt strike me as weird or insulting...

9.) Im a partial hippy...not in the politcal/ unshaven sense, but in the sense that I like sandlewood, door beads, smock tops, and an ecclectic free spirited atmosphere.

10.) Ive been to a couple country concerts...People watching at county concerts are the best!! Ive never seen so many sequines, tassles, feathered hairdos, and muffin tops, in all my life. Very entertaining.

11.) If you bring a fish within 2 feet of me, i'll scream like a little child and run away.

12.) I only learned how to text 6 months ago..Thats also when I started using a cell phone. I dont mind being a little behind in the times.

13.) Im spontaneous to a fault..If I was having a great day with a guy and he suggested we elope for the helluv it, id prolly say LETS DO IT! im a little free spirited, as mentioned above.

14.) I love spicy pork rhinds. Mmmm pig skin!

15.) My belches have registered on Richter scales...

16.) When somebody falls down, I laugh....Its my first instinct, and i dont know why. My second instinct is to ask if they are ok. Im so mean....

17.) I hate asian drivers. I know that makes me appear racist, but damnit im not. They have great food and are smart as hell..but they really cant drive!!! To counter-act this comment, Id also like to say that most white americans have an unhealthy obsession with Jack Johnson and blond hair high lighting...

18.) I get hit on by my chiropractor twice a week, yet I still go back cuz his office smells good and he has treats.

19.) If you have a zit that is bothering me, i will wrestle you to the ground to pop it. Thats super gross...but thats why im the massage therapist/muscle/skin person, and you arent. ha!

20.) I used to throw lots of theme parties specifically so i could dress slutty. What can I say, it makes me feel pretty...

21.) I have a Dan Fogelberg cd....

22.) I openly admit that my conscience sometimes comes with an accent..

23.) Sometimes I think a good rub down with baby wipes constitutes a perfect bath for my kids...

24.) I dont like to share my gum with people..Its freaking 50 cents!!! I dont know why im obsessed with keeping it to myself. Im so selfish...

25.) I avoid confrontation and contention by letting people have what they want. I dont call it being a victim, i call it saving my sanity.

Can I just say how much I love Howard Jones of the 80's? Seriously some great tunes, right there...Id also like to extend my love out to Hall and Oats (mad geniuses) and Level 42's "something about you" which has the funnest bass line. I plan to learn this song as soon as I get my own place. Currently my amp is being used as a clothes collector. If you havent guessed, im on an 80's kick this week...

Its almost Valentines day...the most depressing day of the year. I plan to curl up in a blanket and watch horror movies, while buying MYSELF a box of chocolate. Who's with me??

I love my best friend Saras Cleopatra hairdo...Even if it looks like a wig, its still bitchin!! Only she can pull this off....

Last friday I got to spend the day with my friend Aza. We dropped our kids off at kindergarten, got french manicures and pedicures, ate pizza, went shopping at HSS (she bought me two shirts and a toe ring!) Then we picked the kids up from school...It was an amazing day. I havent spent a day like that in....well...never.

Im collecting albums and album frames. Im preparing for when I get my apartment. I want a whole wall of my favorite albums framed and hung up. I think some of the greatest artwork can be found on a 70's album cover. :0)

I have a test in Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, and Craniosacral tonight...Im buggin out! I practiced on my parents last saturday for about 2 and a half hours. I made Pops whimper...That was sorta funny, actually...I got him to bend his legs pretty far tho!

I miss Skylar Paige so much!!!
