Todays Self Portrait Tuesday assignment was to find something egg-xtra special about your weekend. My weekend was spent taking walks with my kids in the sunshine..something rarely seen and never done in Washington. We spent Saturday shopping the 40% off sales at Old Navy, then buying dinner for kids choice night at Trader Joes. Oh thats another special thing about this last weekend..We started up Kids Choice Night, starting with Eric who chose to have chicken tenders and broccoli for dinner, with strawberries and whipped cream. Then we watched the movie Hoodwinked..which he fell asleep 15 minutes into it. LOL. On Sunday my kids donned their fluffy dresses and handsome boy apparel, as we and my dad walked the couple blocks to church to celebrate Easter. Later we ate lunch in the courtyard under the umbrella table, and talked the afternoon away. Its always nice when I can spend time with my dad without arguing. For me..its just another day in paradise.

Sounds great. But taking walks in the sunshine does happen in WA. Geez, you dont have to go and all bad mouth it just because you arent here. :P I take walks in the sunshine alot. And not just in the summer. I took a nice walk to Stefans school the other evening and it was nice and sunny and just perfect.
