Recipe Monday

Ive decided to do a recipe segment on my blog, and mondays seem to be a good time to post them. Since I always have a case of the "mondays" and food makes me feel better most of the time, it felt fitting.Today I would like to showcase a dessert I experienced at a Bunco party last month. It was so simple to make. I would call it more of a cobbler then a cake, and it looks pretty dumpy on the dish, but its droolicious, none the less..

DUMP CAKE

1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
1 (15 ounce) can crushed pineapple
1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
1 cup butter

DIRECTIONS
Lightly grease a Bundt pan OR regular pan. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
Pour pie filling into bottom of bundt pan, and on top of that pour the pineapple. Pour dry cake mix on top of pineapple. Slice butter or margarine over cake mix.
Bake for 35 to 45 minutes. This cake is best when served warm with ice cream.
